ROSS, LUCILE D.\ SHAWSVILLE - Lucile Doosing Ross, age 89, died Thursday, March 29, 1990 in Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem. She was a member of the White Memorial United Methodist Church and a lifelong resident of Shawsville. Surviving are one son, William T. Ross, Shawsville; one daughter, Marilyn R. Mink, Greensboro, N.C.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday from the White Memorial United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Michael D. Finn-McKenzie with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday where friends may call until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the White United Methodist Church or Shawsville Rescue Squad. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
