All jobs eliminated involved non-licensed and non-professional staff members, said Scott Adams, the hospital's chief executive officer. No licensed or professional employees were dropped.

The hospital's board of directors and administration have expressed confidence that the new operating structure will allow the hospital to avoid financial difficulties.
