PHILLIPS, EDWARD N.\ Edward N. Phillips, age 69, of Troutville, died Friday, March 30 at his home. He was a great loving husband and father. He is survived by sons, William B. Phillips, Harker Heights, Texas; Ralph E. Phillips, Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Dawn P. Foreman, Roanoke; daughter-in-law, J. Yveta Phillips, Harker Heights, Texas; a grandson, Damon S. Phillips, Austin, Texas; brothers and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Phillips, Scottsdale, Arizona; Mr. and Mrs. William R. Phillips, Venice, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. Phil Himes, Colonial Heights, Va.; and mother-in-law, Margie J. Himes, Roanoke. There will be an immediate cremation with no service. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 554, Roanoke, Va., 24003. For those who wish, hold a minute of silence in his memory. Thanks.
