PARRISH, JENNIE W.\ Jennie Wimmer Parrish, age 90, of 215 Hershberger Rd. N.W., died Saturday, March 31, 1990. She was a retired former Chief Operator at C&P Telephone Co. with 50 years service and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Surviving are one sisters, Mrs. Effie Wimmer, Roanoke; two nephews, Grover C. Flint and Donald R. Flint, both of Roanoke; one niece, Hazel Smithson, Victoria; a number of great-nieces and nephews including a special great-niece, Jeri Smithson Bell of Richmond. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 1990, with the Rev. Kelly Dampeer officiating. Burial will be in Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
