MCFARLAND, CLARA M.\ Mrs. Clara M. McFarland, age 88, of 523 5th St. S.E., died Saturday, March 31, 1990. She was the widow of T. R. (Ted) McFarland and was a member of the Evangelical Four Square Church for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Frances McFarland and Josephine Sledd, both of Roanoke; two sons, T. R. (Buddy) McFarland and John W. McFarland, both of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Mary Ann Asberry and James E. Sledd, Jr., both of Roanoke; one great-grandson, Cory A. Asberry, Roanoke. Funeral services will be at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Ken Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton. Friends may call Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
