NEGATIVISM ON CITY SCHOOLS IS ANNOYING

I AM BECOMING very annoyed at all the negative remarks about Roanoke City schools at the meetings on consolidation. I am an employee of the schools, and our two children graduated from Patrick Henry High School and both have college degrees.

I know lots of professional people who were educated in Roanoke City schools and are doing well. I commend Roanoke City schools for all the educational opportunities offered the city and the Roanoke Valley.\ JEAN WILLS ROANOKE
