VIRGINIA UNION'S ENGLISH HONORED

A.J. English of Virginia Union reaped another reward Saturday when he was voted the outstanding player on the Extra Point Club's All-America basketball team for 1990.

The club, established in 1949 in Atlanta, has been picking an All-America team since 1986 for players at historically black colleges. - Associated Press
