EMANUEL EDWARDS FOR CITY SCHOOL BOARD

I WOULD like to see the Roanoke City Council do themselves and the city of Roanoke a huge favor by appointing my good friend Emanuel Edwards to the Roanoke City School Board.

"Double E" is an intelligent man of honor and integrity. He will study each issue on its merit, then vote his conviction.

He is a product of our own school system (honor graduate of Addison High in 1970) and has been an outstanding attorney in Roanoke since 1981. He has a vital interest in the welfare of both our city and the young people who will be entrusted with its future.

It might be fitting that I gave him the nickname of "Double E," because it also could stand for "Double helping of excellence."\ BOB McLELLAND\ ROANOKE
