LEFFEL, JENNIE C.

BLACKSBURG - Jennie Cooper Leffel, age 88, passed away Monday, April 2, in the Montgomery Regional Hospital. Survivors include four sons, Thomas Cooper and Eddie Cooper, both of Newport News; Dr. Charles R. Cooper, Blacksburg; Robert P. Cooper, Jr., Defiance, Ohio; one brother, Lewis Stamper, Marion; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Fort Gibson United Methodist Church in Castlewood with the Rev. Charles Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. The body will remain at the Huff-Cook Castlewood Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
