Kiersz previously has worked as executive director of the Genesee Arts Council in Batavia, N.Y., and as host of the "Frankly Speaking" radio show.
She has directed and written community theater plays and been involved with musical groups. Her new job, she said, will allow her to combine a love of theater with a chance to use her music and organizational skills.
"I'll work with Tolliver House, Fox House and the outdoor drama," Kiersz said, hoping to provide coordination among the projects.
