`LONG WAY HOME' GRANT AWARDED

The state has awarded a $30,000 grant for upgrading the facilities at "The Long Way Home" amphitheater. The outdoor drama's board of directors is asking for donations to match the funding.

Plans are to enlarge the stage and stage house, build new restrooms and construct a new sign at the site. Labor, construcmaterials or cash will be accepted.
