BAKER, THURMAN B.\
FINCASTLE, VA - Thurman Breckenridge Baker, age 75, died Monday, April 2, 1990
in the V.A. Hospital in Salem. He was a retired employee of Mason-Dixon Lines,
a veteran of World War II serving in the Aleutian Islands. He was a member of
the Teamsters local 171 and VFW Post 1841. He is survived by his wife
Geraldine Lucado Baker, Fincastle; son and daughter-in-law, Dewey L. and Meta
R. Baker, Mt. Sidney; one daughter, Bonnie S. Knapp, Vinton; one brother,
Roscoe Baker, Needles, Calf.; two sisters, Louise Wood, Troutville; Murline
Rhine, Surprize, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Steven, Jaimee, and Rhebecca
Baker. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 1990 at 3:00 p.m. at
the Rader Troutville Chapel, with the Rev. Herbert F. Hogan officiating.
Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to make
