AYERS, ANNIE B.\ Annie Boothe Ayers, age 66, died Tuesday, April 3, 1990 in a Salem hospital. She is survived by her husband, James E. Ayers, Roanoke; two daughters, Eulla L. Johnson, Lebanon, Tenn.; Lorene J. Walker, Troutville; five sons, Richard E. Ayers, Chesapeake; Clifton Thomas (Punk) Ayers, Sr., Grandy, N.C.; John W. Ayers, Roanoke; Hubert E. Ayers, Sr., Moneta; James L. Ayers, Moneta; one brother, Robert Boothe, Bonsack; three sisters, Libby Deisher, Troutville; Sis Atkins, Roanoke; Ella Clark, Eagle Rock; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 11:00 a.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. I.W. Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
