HARRY BYRD JR. OK AFTER BYPASS SURGERY

Byrd, 75, suffered a mild heart attack March 17 and entered the Winchester Medical Center on March 29. The surgery was performed Monday.

Doctors said they expected Byrd to make a full recovery.
