TWO TOURISM GROUPS JOIN PROMOTION EFFORTS

Two regional tourism associations are exchanging membership lists in a cooperative gesture aimed at increasing tourism development in Virginia.

Virginia's Southwest Blue Ridge Highlands and the Shenandoah Valley Tourism Association, which met recently in Roanoke, will also continue efforts to promote Interstate 81 as a gateway to the mountains of Virginia. They also agreed to work on occasional joint projects that would help both their regions.
