MAMET PLAY SCHEDULED AT HIGHLANDS COLLEGE

"The Water Engine," a play by David Mamet depicting corporate greed strangling individual enterprise, will be performed at Virginia Highlands Community College April 20 and 21 at 8:30 p.m. and April 22 at 2:30 p.m.

First done as a radio play, the story involves a punch-press operator who invents an engine that runs on water. The cast includes John Owens, Haley Salyer, Todd Craft, Richard Fleenor, Donnamarie Emmert, Dave Smith, David Browning and Dianne Goldsmith.

Gary Aday is the director and designer. Rachel Eller is assistant director.
