MORE STATES JOIN IN HONORING KING

The march toward national acceptance of a holiday honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. gathered up Kentucky, Wyoming and Idaho recently, leaving only three states as holdouts today, 22 years after King's death.

Lloyd Davis, executive director of the King Federal Holiday Commission, expressed confidence that Arizona, New Hampshire and Montana would not hold out much longer.
