BICYCLE RIDE TO POND WILL MARK EARTH DAY

A bicycle parade from the Blacksburg Community Center to the Virginia Tech duck pond will celebrate Earth Day at 2 p.m. April 21.

Participants are asked to decorate their bicycles in an environmental theme. There will be a festival with games and information displays at the duck pond after the parade. Buses will be available to transport those who cannot ride bicycles.

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult on the ride. For information, call Tom Clarke at 961-1133.
