SNOWVILLE - Damon Dewey Cox, age 87, died Wednesday in a Radford hospital. Surviving are two sons, Laudie Cox, Owings Mills, Md.; Sherlie Cox, Snowville; one daughter, Lucille Lowe, Maryland; one sister, Mrs. Laura Duncan, White Rock; one brother, Garman Cox, Indian Valley; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Gethsemene Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
