COUNCIL TO HEAR HEAD OF CONSOLIDATION COAL

B.R. "Bobby" Brown, president and chief executive officer of Consolidation Coal Co., will be the banquet speaker at the Virginia Coal Council's 12th annual conference and exposition Sept. 18-20 at the Roanoke Marriott.

Brown also is chairman of the American Coal Foundation, a director of the Bituminous Coal Operators Association and a member of the Coal Advisory Board of the International Energy Agency and of the National Coal Council's Executive Committee and Coal Policy Committee.
