\ A CANTATA, "The Savior of the World," will be presented Easter Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Third Unit of Roanoke Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints center, 6311 Wayburn Drive, Salem. Edith Haynes is director of the program that is for all ages. Call 977-6813 for more information.

\ RIDGEWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH has scheduled three home mission projects this summer. Youths will be part of a resort ministry at Kill Devil Hills, N.C., young adults will teach and visit for a Hilton Head Island, S.C., new church and other adults will repair a religious activities building at the Bland Correctional Center.

\ THE REV. WILLIAM STOVALL, who has served several congregations in Western Virginia, will become the full-time pastor of Masons Cove Church of the Brethren on June 1.

\ FAITH ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH, 125 W. Fourth St., will add a second Sunday morning service beginning Easter. Overcrowding is causing the move to worship at 8 and 10:45 a.m. with education time starting at 9:45 a.m.

\ THE REV. JAMES PARKE, pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Salem, is host for a new radio program, "Religion and Life," aired each Saturday night from 10 to 11 on WFIR. Parke interviews Roanoke Valley religion leaders on a variety of contemporary issues.

\ MARJORIE McCULLOUGH, national president of the Woman's Missionary Union, will speak to Southern Baptist women from churches in more than 60 congregations during their annual meeting on April 17. McCullough of Alexandria, La., will speak at Grandin Court Baptist Church, 2660 Brambleton Ave. S.W. The meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m. To reserve nursery care, call 774-8442 by Tuesday.

\ STEPHEN SERIES PASTORAL CARE TRAINING has been completed by seven adults from Our Lady of Nazareth and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic churches in Roanoke and Salem. The men and women have completed several months of seminars to teach effective visitation in crises. Those recently commissioned are Phyllis Crawford, Walter Kephart, Carol Lachowicz, Steve Lukas, Kathy Sizemore, Barbara Smith and Paul Lamastro.
