ARTHRITIS TELETHON

The Virginia Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation is seeking volunteers to help with the Arthritis Foundation Telethon, which begins at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 22.

Volunteers are needed to answer telephones, take pledges, provide transportation and perform other tasks.

Entertainers Mickey Gilley and Sarah Purcell will be the hosts of the 8-hour telethon to be broadcast on Channel 21 in the Lynchburg-viewing area.
