Edmund T. (Piggy) Morris, Jr., age 82, of Roanoke, died in a Roanoke hospital
Friday, April 6, 1990. He was a graduate of V.M.I. and M.I.T. and was a
retired electrical engineer with Westinghouse. He was a member of the
Shenandoah Club and very active in the V.M.I. Foundation. Surviving are his
daughter, Sheila M. Julian, Ore.; nephews, Tom W. Goodwin, Barton Morris;
niece, Mrs. John H. Parrott, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be
conducted at St. John's Episcopal Church, 11:00 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Clay
H. Turner. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family suggests
memorials be made to the V.M.I. Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
