CAPPS, VIRGIL P.\ ELLISTON - Virgil Paul Capps, age 63, died Thursday, April 5, 1990. He served 27 years in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joyce M. Capps, Elliston; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Harris, Christiansburg; and Miss Paula Capps, Radford; one son, Jerry Capps, Dublin; two stepdaughters, Ms. Sharon Vaughan, Richmond; Miss Tracy Sifford, Elliston; one sister, Miss Pearl Capps, Lebanon Junction, Ken.; three half sisters, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 8, 1990, at 2:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. William R. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by the Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home in Elliston.
