COACH OF OKLAHOMA WOMEN QUITS

University of Oklahoma women's coach Valerie Goodwin-Colbert resigned Friday, a day after school officials announced they would reinstate the program dropped last week.

Athletic director Donnie Duncan said the decision to resign was Goodwin-Colbert's and was made before the two met Friday.
