Claudia Gray, who resigned Nov. 21 after working 13 months in the school's basketball office, alleges Driesell was abusive and abrasive.
"There was a lot of stress in there, a lot of noise," she said in an interview with the Richmond Times-Dispatch. "I didn't want to have to [resign]. But I could not rid myself of the problem, so I removed myself from it."
Driesell could not be reached at his office or his home Friday.
Guthrie Allen, the school's director of employee relations and training, said, "I don't go into personnel issues like this." He referred additional questions to Fred Hilton, the director of university relations. Hilton said he was not aware of any formal complaint.
Gray filed her complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission office in Richmond.
