I sincerely wish that this story was required reading for all Americans. A few highlights:
A recent survey of students at this country's premier journalism school revealed that almost seven out of 10 students strongly disapprove of Ronald Reagan, while only three out of 10 strongly disapprove of Fidel Castro. Another survey of 238 of America's top journalists revealed that 75 percent of the media disagree that homosexuality is wrong; 54 percent do not regard adultery as wrong, and only 15 percent strongly agree that extramarital affairs are immoral.
On other issues such as gun control, the media admit being biased and no longer concerned with providing balanced coverage. (A recent cartoon in this newspaper maliciously attacked the National Rifle Association, one of few organizations powerful enough to stand against the lies and distortions of the news media.)\ PAUL BISBEE\ BEDFORD
