PULASKI PRIDE DAY RAISES NEARLY $3,500

Pulaski Pride Day, which featured a series of events including a fun run and baking contest, raised nearly $3,500 toward the restoration of the old courthouse and train station.

The century-old courthouse was gutted by a fire in December. The renovation for the passenger depot has been a town project for the past two years.

About 400 people visited Pulaski Motor Co. Saturday to attend the day's events and help raise money, said Jim Delehanty, president of the company.

"It went exceptionally well," he said. "We had real good participation."

The event raised $3,492.
