`CROSSROADS' AUDITIONS SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 27

Auditions for actors, singers and dancers to perform in "Crossroads," an outdoor drama based on Wythe County's 200-year history being presented this summer, will be held April 27 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Grayson Commons of Wytheville Community College.

Volunteers also will be needed as stage hands and for other behind-the-scenes work when the county's bicentennial pageant is presented Aug. 3-5.

Those unable to attend the April 27 auditions can telephone the Wythe County Bicentennial Office at 228-2299 between 9 a.m. and noon, or pick up volunteer forms at the office.
