GIRL SAYS SHE WAS SHOT DURING ARGUMENT

A 17-year-old Roanoke girl told police she was shot in the shoulder by a 16-year-old girl during an argument at a Rorer Avenue home early this morning.

Chanda Michelle Hill was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to her left shoulder, police said. Hospital officials had no information on her condition this morning.

Hill told police that she and the 16-year-old were arguing at a home on the 1900 block of Rorer Avenue Southwest about 1 a.m. when the girl went upstairs, came back down with a rifle and shot her.

The girl had left the home when police arrived a few minutes later.
