HONTS, FLOYD B.\ IRON GATE - Floyd Bernard Honts, Sr., age 78, died Tuesday, April 10, 1990, in Alleghany Regional Hospital. He was a retired Operator Engineer for the Columbia Gas System. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cora Mae Cummings Honts, Iron Gate; one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Nicely, Iron Gate; three sons, Robert Wayne Honts, Covington; Eddie L. Honts, Clifton Forge; and Floyd B. Honts, Jr., Richmond; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at the Iron Gate United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Staley and the Rev. Harry Renner officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Cemetery, Rt. 1, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends at Nicely Funeral Home, Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and anytime at the residence. Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is in charge of the arrangements.
