`STREAMERS' SHOWING MONDAY AT COLLEGE

The film version of David Rabe's play about Vietnam, "Streamers," will be the next Cinema Series offering at Virginia Highlands Community College Monday at 7:30 p.m.

The play opened at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Conn., in 1976 and moved to the Lincoln Center later that year. It is set in a Virginia military barracks and deals with the relationships among a group of soldiers destined for Vietnam.

The film version was directed by Robert Altman.
