Mr. Raymond Elvy Coleman, age 85, of Salem, died Tuesday, April 10, 1990. He was a lifetime member of Fort Lewis Lions Club. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jack L. Jay, Staunton; granddaughter, Dixie Julianna Jay; sister, Margaret Coleman Mills, Salem; dear friends, Elizabeth and Bill Ligon, Salem. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with the Rev. James G. Holloman officiating. Interment will be Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
