VIRGINIA WESTERN PLANS 5,000-METER RUN MAY 5

The ninth annual Virginia Western Community College 5,000-meter run will be held May 5 at 9 a.m.

The run, which is certified by the Athletic Congress, will begin in front of Webber Hall on the campus. Men and women will be divided into 10 age divisions.

For an entry fee of $6, runners will receive a short-sleeved T-shirt; for a $10 fee, a long-sleeved T-shirt. Participants who register after April 25 and on race day between 7:15 and 8 a.m. must pay $8 and will receive a short-sleeved shirt.

The awards ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. For more information, call 857-7237. Course maps and entry forms may be picked up in the Virginia Western Counseling Office on the lower level of Fishburn Hall.
