COMMUNITY ACTION GARDENING PROJECT

New River Community Action is again sponsoring the Summer Gardening Project for low-income and elderly community members. For $2, qualified applicants receive $10-$15 in seeds to plant in their own gardens. In some areas, there is assistance with garden design and tilling.
