M&R OPENING AGAIN FOR ITS FINAL FINAL SALE

This is really it. Nearly three months after closing for regular business, defunct retailer Miller & Rhoads Inc. is literally selling the hooks off the walls of its flagship store.

The doors will open Monday to sell hundreds of items from telephones and chairs to lamps and Tea Room restaurant dishes - the remaining fixtures, furniture, equipment and memorabilia from the store where the chain began 105 years ago.

The completion of next week's sale should be the store's finale, said R. LaDonne Bland, owner of the company conducting the tag sale.
