Speakers will be Nomonde Ngubo, a native of South Africa who is employed by the United Mine Workers of America as a special international representative; Shuping Coapoge, a spokesman for the Africa National Congress Observer Mission to the United Nations; and Lou Witherite, who is responsible for the Africa and Caribbean programs of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.
There will be a brown bag lunch at the Cranwell International Center at noon on the Virginia Tech campus. Events at the Wesley Foundation, 209 W. Roanoke St., include a potluck supper at 6 p.m., a musical cultural event at 7 p.m. and presentations by the speakers at 7:30 p.m.
