SHARPE, MILDRED P.\ Ms. Mildred Pharis Sharpe, age 68, of 662 Carpenter Avenue, Mooresville, N.C., died Friday, April 13, at her residence. She was born January 3, 1922, in Eden, N.C., a daughter of the late Milard Franklin and Rosie Rodgers Pharis. She was a retired credit manager, having worked at the Kimbrells Furniture Company in Statesville, N.C. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Mooresville. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Sandra S. Gold, Roanoke, Va.; one brother, Ulysses Pharis, Greensboro, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Irene Bryan, Mooresville; two grandsons, Ben and Daniel Gold, Roanoke, Va. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Central United Methodist Church in Mooresville by the Rev. Robert Moore. Burial will be in the Glenwood Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, C/O American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 4621, Rocky Mount, N.C., 27801, or to the Central United Methodist Church, 214 N. Academy St., Mooresville, N.C. 28115. Cavin Funeral Home of Mooresville is in charge of arrangements.
