LOVE, NOAH A.\
Noah Anderson Love, age 86, of Route 3 and formerly of Thaxton, passed away
Friday, April 13, 1990, in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born
January 4, 1904, in Bedford County, a son of the late Francis Marion Love and
Alice Ayers Love. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Dooley Love, and
his daughter, Ida Mae Wooldridge. He was a member of the Ambassador Baptist
Church and was a retired employee of the Bedford Locker Plant. He is survived
by four daughters, Betty L. Spence and Phyllis L. Bowery, both of Richmond;
Frances M. Love and Judy L. Holdren, both of Bedford; three sons, Henry A.
Love, Alvin L. Love, both of Bedford; Roy G. Love, Richmond; three sisters,
Dora McKee, Hardy; Evie Feathers, Roanoke; Celia Hartwell, Florida; one
brother, Joe Love, Florida; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, April 16, 1990, at 2:00 p.m. from
the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Robert E. Bowyer and the
Rev. Wayne Murphy. The family will receive friends today from 7:00 to 9:00
p.m. at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
