BERGER, SHIRLEY P.\ ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Shirley Patterson Berger, age 59, of Route 7, died Thursday, April 12. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bianca B. Hariston, Roanoke; Miss Charlotte A. Berger and Miss Dawn Y. Berger, both of the home; two sons, Mgy/Sgt. Cecil W. Berger, U.S.M.C., Virginia Beach, Va.; Mr. Charles A. Berger of the home; four grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie M. Patterson, Mrs. Mary Simmons, Mrs. Nannie Davis, all of Rocky Mount; Mrs. Dorothy Hall, Jamaica, N.Y.; Mrs. Rachel Muse, St. Alban, N.J.; one brother, Mr. Gary G. Patterson, Rosedale, N.Y.; one aunt, Mrs. Rose Scott, Rocky Mount; father-in-law, Mr. Charlie Berger, Columbus, Ohio; three brothers-in-law, Mr. William (Bo) Berger, Rocky Mount; Mr. Walter Berger and Mr. Spencer Berger, both of Columbus, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. McKinley J. Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Byrd View Cemetery. Arrangements by Stanfield Mortuary Service.
