WOMAN, 54, DIES OF CRASH INJURIES

A Staffordsville woman died Saturday at University of Virginia Hospital from injuries suffered in an April 11 traffic accident in Giles County.

Mary Martha Simpkins, 54, was a passenger in a car driven by Lacy Edward Talbert. State police said the car was westbound on Virginia 660 at 5:30 p.m. when it collided with a car headed north on Virginia 100. No charges have been filed in the accident, state police said.
