Frank J. Williams, Sr., age 64, of Salem, died Monday, April 16, 1990. He was a Naval veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific and received citations for bravery in action. Surviving are four sons, Frank J. Williams, Jr., Terry L. Williams, Jonathan M. Williams, Gerald K. Williams, all of Roanoke; two daughters, Donna R. Gross, Goodview; Patricia A. West, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Alice Falls, Christiansburg; Marcia Hancock, Roanoke; Juanita Kingrea, Salem; three brothers, George H. (Ham) Williams, Roanoke; John S. Williams, Bedford; Ronald R. Williams, Roanoke; a special friend, Ruth Martin, Salem. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Kenneth Kingrea officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
