ODU TO EXPLAIN ENGINEERING DEGREE

Persons interested in a bachelor's degree program in civil engineering technology are invited to a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Business Science Auditorium of Virginia Western Community College.

Representatives from Old Dominion University in Norfolk will outline plans for an evening program in civil engineering technology that could begin in September, depending on student response.

If the program is offered at Virginia Western, students could earn the bachelor's degree without leaving the Roanoke Valley.
