OBIT FERRELL, J.

Jack Eugene Ferrell, age 59, of Salem, died Monday in a Salem hospital. He was retired from General Electric Co., Salem. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lera O. Ferrell; four sons, Brent Newman, Wayne Newman, Randy Motley, Rickey Motley; five daughters, Kathy Fitzgerald, Tina Sisson, Jackie Newman, Jenny Ferrell, Michelle Motley; a brother and sister-in-law, Bernie F. and Rosie Ferrell; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Robin L. Caldwell officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
