Cloyd V. Pinkard, age 89, of Roanoke, died Thursday in a Salem hospital. He was member of Belmont Baptist Church and a retired member of the Brick Layers Masons and Plasters, International Union of America. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Buford Lugar, Roanoke; two sons and daughters-in-law, John P. and Judy Pinkard, Roanoke; Earl and Pat Pinkard, Richmond; son, Lewis Pinkard, Roanoke; eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Funeral services will be from Oakey's Roanoke, 12:00 noon Saturday with Dr. Thomas S. Cribb officiating with interment in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
