COLEMAN MAKES DEBUT ON RADIO PROGRAM

Republican J. Marshall Coleman, who lost by a narrow margin in last year's governor's race, has debuted on an afternoon rush-hour radio show.

The former Virginia attorney general went on the air on WMAL on Thursday in the first of weekly, eight-minute radio programs with former Democratic Rep. Michael D. Barnes of Maryland on a Washington station.

"I'll give an analysis of Virginia politics for 1990," Coleman said.

Barnes, who represented suburban Montgomery County, Md., will talk about Maryland politics, Coleman said.
