WVRU's "Long Live Rock" is featuring a three-part series on Bob Dylan. Host Jim Newberne takes a look at the artist from 1965 through 1970 in Part II on Monday at 9 p.m. Also on WVRU are "Golden Oldies" today, noon-2 p.m., and "Funny Farm," a comedy extravaganza, Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
On WVVV: Sunday, 9 a.m.-noon, "Reeling In The Years" with Jack Bruce, blues great Alexis Korner, ZZ Top and Nick Taylor on the Rolling Stones; "Album Feature" Sunday at 11 p.m., "Specially For You" by the Smithereens; "Rock Line," Monday at 11:30 p.m., features Little Feat; "Rest of the Record" on Tuesday plays "Waking Hours" by Del Amitri.
WVVV's "Metal Shop" is Wednesday at 11 p.m. "Five at Five" on Friday features Santana tunes.
WUVT plays African, reggae and other world music 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday. Then at 10 p.m., WUVT's simulcast of "Live at the Knitting Factory" airs a concert series from New York's "new" music scene.
Thursday at 9:30 p.m., WUVT's "So-ho Natural Sessions" features musicians doing in-studio acoustics. There will be lots of give-aways, including T-shirts and sodas.
\ COUNTRY: WRIQ has a feature on the nominees of the Academy of Country Music awards, 1-3 p.m. today.
WKEX's Blackburg High School program at 10:30 a.m. today has students playing their favorite tunes plus discussions of what's going on at their school.
On WPSK this week: "All Request Saturday Night" tonight; call 633-1071 from Montgomery County, 980-1071 from elsewhere. "Bob Kingsley's Country Countdown," 6-10 p.m. Sunday, plays America's top 40 hits. "Best Night of Radio on Radio," Tuesday at 8 p.m., includes the NRV's top 25 countdown and "CD Feature of the Week" sponsored by Disc Jockey Records & Tapes.
WKEX airs a Monday special with host Tim Lagan, 7-10 p.m., with a salute to Ricky Van Shelton. On Wednesday 7-10 p.m. is a Kathy Mattea special.
"Ralph Emery Show" weekdays on WKEX at 2:30 p.m. and on WRAD at 10:30 a.m. presents all-around musician and performer Barbara Mandrell.
"Country Crossroads" is simulcast over WRAD Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and on WKEX Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Guests include Asleep at the Wheel, George Strait, and Bob Wills & the Texas Playboys.
\ JAZZ: WVRU's "Jazz Notes" airs Friday at 7 p.m. and WVRU's "Mellow Tones" is 9-11 a.m. Sunday.

\ LIVE: WPSK congratulates graduating seniors at Jacob's Lounge Sunday, 9 p.m.-1 a.m., at its "1990 Graduation Party" at the Blacksburg Marriott. Students can dance to their favorite country tunes, meet WPSK personalities and win prizes.

On WBLB's "Kid's Break with Enock Flake" today at 3 p.m., Enock makes personal appearances and sells cassettes of the show for $5.
\ NEWS: WFNR's benefit at Auburn High School raised $1,500 for Ronald W. Bennett of Willis, who is awaiting a heart transplant at the Medical College of Virginia. Station manager Bill Lineberry thanks listeners and bands and will give the check to the Bennett family this week. WVRU's "Talk of the Town," Wednesday 8 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday, is a public affairs program with a variety of performers, artists and entertainers.
WKEX's "Focus on the Family," weekdays at 9 a.m. and 6:05 p.m., features host James Dobson on "A Key to Sexual Purity" on Monday; "Fighting Satan in Today's World" on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and "Treasuring Relationships" on Friday.
