GLADE SPRINGS - Mrs. Lucy C. Crabtree, age 83, died in Johnston Memorial Hospital Saturday morning. She was a member of McCalls Gap Presbyterian Church. She was the widow of William H. Crabtree. She is survived by one son, William H. Crabtree, Jr., Collinsville; one brother, Lawrence Church, Roanoke; one sister, Elizabeth Church, Collinsville; two grandchildren, William H. Crabtree, III, and Kimberlee W. Crabtree, both of Greensboro, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at McCalls Gap Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Eugene Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Glade Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 Sunday evening at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville.
