IF WOMB'S FRUIT NOT WANTED, DON'T SEED

RECENT events regarding abortion legislation in Idaho, and actions planned by the National Organization of Women, cause me to wonder about where our society is heading. Why punish the Idaho potato farmers for something they are not responsible for? Consider:

Our world is surely blessed with many things. Among these blessings are babies and potatoes. Both are a benefit to mankind. One will carry life onward; the other gives sustenance to that life.

Once a potato field is planted, it is only destroyed (prior to harvest) if something disastrous ruins the crop. Once the seed for a baby has been planted, should not the same consideration apply?

If you don't want potatoes, you don't plant. If babies are not wanted, follow the same procedure: Don't plant. Society must become more responsible - if not, we will know only more troubles.
