Police said today that at least three people were assaulted in what they called a "large disorder" at T-Roy's in the 4300 block of Plantation Road.
Rickie Griffen Meadow, 34, of Blue Ridge was charged with hitting Johnny Lewis Dunbar, 29, in the head with a pool cue, police said. Dunbar was treated at Community Hospital.
Meadow also was charged with assaulting Steve Keener, 33, of Northwest Roanoke.
And Meadow's brother, Calvin Lloyd Meadow, 32, of Blue Ridge, was charged with slapping a bar employee, Sylvia G. Ridenhour, in the face.
The brawl broke out about 1:52 a.m., shortly after the last call for beer and pool games went out, T-Roy's manager Janet Slough said today.
"It all started" after an employee announced last call to a group of men who were shooting pool in a back room, Slough said.
In the ensuing brawl, which involved more than a half-dozen people, beer bottles were smashed and pool cues were broken, she said.
Rickie Meadow was also charged with being drunk in public, police said.
